Marcelo Felipe (Victoria Sports Pro Cycling) a remporté le Championnat national des Philippines – Course en ligne à Tagaytay, après un parcours exigeant de 215 km. Il s'est imposé en 5h02'25'', à une vitesse moyenne de 42,656 km/h, devançant de justesse Jericho Lucero (Go For Gold Philippines) et Jeremy Lizardo.
Le sprint final a été marqué par une belle résistance de Lucero, qui termine à seulement 2 secondes, tandis que Lizardo complète le podium à 4 secondes. Ryan Tugawin et Alexis Pagara, coéquipier du vainqueur, terminent respectivement à la 4ᵉ et 5ᵉ place.
Felipe, fort de son expérience et de sa puissance, décroche ainsi un nouveau titre national, offrant à son équipe Victoria Sports Pro Cycling une belle victoire.
