Nicolas Prodhomme (Decathlon – AG2R La Mondiale) continue sa saison exceptionnelle avec une 5e victoire en 2025, cette fois au sommet de Lélex Monts Jura, lors de la 2e étape du Tour de l’Ain.
Le Français s’est imposé au sprint face au jeune Belge Cian Uijtdebroeks (Visma | Lease a Bike), après que les deux hommes se soient échappés à 26 km de l’arrivée, dans l’ascension du Col de Menthières (1re catégorie). Leur avance sur les poursuivants atteint 53 secondes à l’arrivée.
Grâce à ce succès, Prodhomme s'empare du maillot jaune de leader. Le sprint du groupe de poursuivants a été remporté par Jamie Meehan (stagiaire chez Cofidis), devant Ben Tulett et Louis Rouland.
