Ce samedi, à Lierneux, Artuur Torney (Mini Discar Cycling Team) a remporté la troisième étape du Province Cycling Tour (2.12 IC1), au terme d’un sprint massif. Longue de 142,4 kilomètres, cette étape exigeante au cœur de la province de Liège n’a pas permis de créer de véritables écarts, mais a confirmé la solidité des jeunes talents présents cette semaine.
Le Belge s’impose avec autorité devant les deux coureurs de la formation Wanty-NIPPO-ReUz : Keije Solen et Zeno Moonen. Rico van Damme (Team Cibel Cebon) prend la quatrième place dans le même temps. Les vingt premières positions se sont jouées au sprint, preuve d’un peloton resté compact malgré le profil vallonné.
